My my, things are just a mess.
As it turns out, those evil insurance companies make a whopping 2% profit. Less than Nancy Pelosi's winery. Maybe the government should take that over as well, since she is obviously gouging the wine drinking public.
Medicare runs about 60 to 80 billion dollars a year in fraud abuse right now. It is bankrupt and is not sustainable. How anyone can honestly say putting everyone on it will work is smoking crack.
Maybe this is the real reason?

Well, at least he is being honest for once.
Back in congress, I wonder why they bothered will all those committee meetings Since now it seems that whatever they passed out of committee is now out the door, and Harry Reid's original plan is the one that will go up for a vote.

Yes, today they announced the recession is over. This is the 44th week in a row this has been announced. Yet I see no changes except more unemployment, and more companies folding. Caterpillar is laying off another 2,500 folks. Many GM factories are gearing up for the November shutdowns.
However, besides me saying it, it has come out that Team O took charge of this disaster last November right after the election. It wasn't the evil Bush behind the bailouts after all. But as the happy talk continues on TV, this came out yesterday:

And commercial real estate is tanking as we speak.
Meanwhile, both wars seem to be spiraling out of control, as we wait for the One to make a decision on what to do. As it stands now, it looks as he will not follow the advice of his Generals on the ground. Instead he will follow the advice of John Kerry. This reminds me of what happened in that little war back in the 60's. The military was winning, so the politicians started calling the shots, and it became a huge catastrophe, and wast of life.
