While the far left tries to make Kennedy a saint, and pass Obamacare in his memory, what did old Ted say to justify his leaving Mary Jo Kopechne to die.
We had no romantic relationship whatsoever, he wrote flatly. He insists they were getting weepy over RFK's assassination the year before, and both decided to leave the party.
Although he acknowledges some pre-dinner cocktails that night, Kennedy doesn't blame alcohol - just that he was lost on an unfamiliar part of the island.
Kennedy admits that he was not proud of the 10 hours it took him to report the accident - a period during which skeptics believe Kennedy worked feverishly to cover his tracks.
But he concludes that his brain was addled by concussion, exhaustion, shock and panic - as well as the knowledge that the accident would hurt him politically.

The knowledge that the accident would hurt him politically.
I think there is the truth of it all.
The man who spent 40 years trying to impose a government run health care system on all Americans, would not save one woman dying in his car in a wreak he caused, because he was afraid it would hut him politically.
If his name had not been Kennedy, he would have served a long prison sentence for this crime. Instead he gets elected to the Senate. And now he is being made out as the greatest American to ever live.
Just goes to show how warped the Left has become.
Speaking of Lefties, once again the White House has misjudged the American People. His planned speech to the nations school children is now going through a face lift. They are toning down the language so as not to appear as a indoctrination lesson. They no longer will be focusing on what your children can do to help the President.

Hopefully one of these days he will figure out we are not the Progressive Lefties he thinks we are.
I recognize that all of you have an obligation to ask questions knowing that there's none of you smart enough to frame it in such a way that I'm going to respond, Charlie Rangel.
Yes, Charlie is still being uncooperative. It must be lonely when you are that arrogant and full of yourself.
Yet is seems that among his other problems, Charlie has given campaign donations to at three of the five democrats who are on the ethics committee that are investigating Rangel's failure to be forthcoming on oh so many millions on his taxes and congressional disclosure.
