So much going on in the world, and yet the news media only seems to be interested in telling us about Michael Jackson, Sarah Palin, and the Governor of S.C, with the Argentinian hottie. And the occasional car chase.
And again I will say to all of you who might want to lead the police on a high speed car chase in the future, when you see the helicopters, it is time to pull over.
But with so much non news dominating the holiday weekend, I was under the impression that the 2,000 plus Tea Parties scheduled for the 4th of July had all been canceled. After searching around I finally found some news on the WND site.
They weren't canceled, they just went unreported by the entire news media.
It seems that again tens of thousands of good Americans were out voicing their opposition to the insane spending of the state and Federal governments. Yet not a single news agency deemed it news worthy.
I guess it is true. The only reason there was any coverage on April 15th of these events, was because of Glen Beck, Neil Cuvoto, and Fox News. This time Fox didn't show up, and neither did anyone else.
It was apparent back in April the news media as a whole was bent on making the tax protesters look like raciest screwballs. And that offended the good folks. And the mainstream news media ratings have been falling ever since..
So this time out they simply ignored the folks. Much like the government does regularly.
The press was originally supposed to be the watchdog of the government. Now it is simply their head cheerleader. Even Fox, while they remain the most objective, have started to push the party line.
When a few people at the top choose what you do and do not know about, the Country may already be lost.
Just know that tens of thousands of your fellow Americans were out in force exercising their right to free speech, protesting the insanity of spending our government is engaged in.
And no one bothered to cover it, except WND.
