When you talk about government plans to implant RFID chips in Americans, everyone starts to think you need to take your Tin Foil Hat off, and get into the shade.
But there is reason to worry. Back when President Bush signed the SPP agreement with Mexico and Canada, there was a provision for a National ID card. These ID cards would have a RFID chip embedded into the magnetic strip. Folks got very upset when this news came to light, and the idea was put on the back burner. But again, like any government idea, it never goes away, it just hangs around until they think they can sneak it through.
In case you don't know, the RFID chip is the size of a grain of rice., and can be implanted into your arm with a simple syringe, like maybe a flu shot. These little goodies give your constant GPS, can contain your medical information, and much more. There is a group that is pushing to eliminate paper money, and have all your transaction done by scanning your embedded chip. It like you have your own personal bar code. Imagine, no more AAA cards, Insurance cards, no need to carry ID. It can all be scanned by this chip. The government will again try to push this idea, arguing Public Safety concerns, and the convenience for us, the people in our day to day lives.
These chips can also be turned on, or off, not by you, but by the government.
Imagine all your finances being controlled through your embedded chip. Now imagine the government decides you are a dissident, or just a general pain in the butt. Once they turn off your chip, you become a non person. No money, no Health Care, no anything.
I know, this is all very George Orwellian, but the technology, and the chips, already exist. In fact recently a man in Germany filed a patient for a RFID chip that contained a cyanide capsule. One push of a button and no matter where in the world you might be, the capsule would release the poison into your system and you would die. His patient was denied, not because of its evil intent, but because it was already patented and in production.
Now before you think I have taken the full leap into the spooky conspiracy crowd, consider this.
California, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and this week Pennsylvania, have passed state legislation to ban the mandatory RFID chipping of their citizens. If there is no danger of this actually happening, why would states start a preemptive ban on this Tin Foil Hat conspiracy?
Remember, a government idea never goes away. Quietly this past June, Canadian and US citizens were required to get a new Passport card, to enter or leave the country. Mexico is exempt for some unexplainable reason, but it is part of the SPP agreement. These new cards have, you guessed it, a RFID chip implanted on them. This is the precursor to once again bringing up the National ID card. And once they get us used to the ID cars, it is a small leap to embedding the chips in us. They will argue how much money they will save, and how much more convieniant it will be for us. The government has learned the back door works very well when things are not popular.
Another view on this is most disturbing. The Christians consider this chipping to be the Mark Of the Beast.
From the Bible we read this:
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark .
Well, that sure does sound like the ultimate intent of these RFID chips.
Are we actually seeing the End Times? I don't know if we are on a Biblical proportion, but we sure are seeing the End Times of our Country.
It does amaze me that the government would want to establish such a huge endeavor to keep track of all of it's law abiding citizens, yet refuses to enact the Electronic screening program in the workplace to verify immigrant work status. Once again, it would seem to Mexicans are exempt. I can only wonder why.

Not to worry--this is not the Mark of the Beast. That mark will be a tattoo, not a chip. This is just improved surveillance, invasion of privacy, a power grab by bureaucrats, call it what you will. Merely a rehearsal.
