THE LARGEST MUSLIM NATION - AMERICA?

I am not sure where the President gets his information from. But if it was my job in the White House to get him his facts and figures, I'd be working on my resume. According to our Dear Leader, America is the largest Muslim Nation on Earth.

Yeah, I didn't know that either. I knew that he said we are not a Christian Nation anymore. And what with all the diversity being shoved down our collective throats, I'd probably agree with that to a certain extent.

So I looked into it to satisfy my own curiosity. We have around 300,000,000 folks running around our little country. Near as I can find, around 8 Million are Muslim. That is not even 10%. I bet if I looked I could find that at least 10% of the population is still Christian. So why the misrepresentation?

I have a few theories. Since he is trying to convince the Muslim world that that we should all get along, I am thinking that he is trying to convince the Middle East that we are really just like them, all happy Muslims. No need to be upset with us.

Or, he is trying to convince us that we are just like the Middle East. We have gotten so diverse, we are now a happy Muslim Nation.

The third choice, and probably the most likely, is he actually believes his own none sense. Because I am pretty sure the Middle East isn't buying into it, and I know the American people aren't buying into it.

I guess this all ties into the new concept of terrorism. It is no longer a war, it is a military contingency. There is no more acts of terrorism, only man made disasters. Change the terminology, change the view of the people. I do find it odd that our Dear Leader always makes his big overseas speeches at 3 AM our time. Makes me think he is trying to keep most Americans from hearing what he has to say.

Which leads me to my next point. Apparently our Dear Leader has told the Palestinians that soon Jerusalem would be theirs, as the capitol of their own state. I'm all for them having their own state, but I think it is rather presumptuous of him to give away a city in a country he doesn't own. Unless he really does believe he is the President of the world.

Another gripe I have is how he has announced to the world that Iran should be allowed to build their nuclear bombs, I mean reactors. This would seem to put Israel in a very difficult place. They have that kooky Iranian President going on everyday about how they will wipe Israel off the map once they get nuclear weapons. You have Iran supporting and supplying and training Hamas and Hezbollah. Both of these groups go out of their way to make life in Israel as difficult as possible. And in the middle is our Dear Leader telling Israel to back down, Iran to go ahead, and Hamas and Hezbollah that soon they will have their way.

Then you have those crazy North Koreans. The United Nations Security Council can't even muster up a terse note to send. Is it just me, or has the whole world lost it's mind?
