OUR FRIEND PELOSI

One of the most irritating things about Congress is the fact that the same people that are creating all of our problems, keep getting re elected. Usually on the platform that they will solve the problem, that they in fact created in the first place. At the top of this list of career politicians, and problem creators is Nancy Pelosi.

I could probably write a book about her antics in Congress. But I will keep it down to just a couple of points that really speak volumes about her ambitions and agenda. Unfortunately, the media and the good folks of the USA have a very short memory.

So lets go back in time. Do you remember when the headlines all related to the alleged illegal wiretaps of the Bush administration? Seems so very long ago, doesn't it.

If you will remember, the biggest voice yelling from the mountain top against these alleged violations, was none other than Nancy Pelosi. And boy, was she mad. How could Bush do this? She would go on and on about how evil Bush was, because of this wiretapping program.

For several months, all you would hear was how she was going to get a Congressional investigation to look into this illegal program. She would bring Bush down. She would get everyone involved. She would, do nothing at all.

Suddenly she stopped talking about the subject all together. No hearings, no investigations, no nothing, just silence. I wonder why?

That's right, word leaked out that our good friend Nancy Pelosi was briefed every step of the way by the Bush administration, and had signed off on the wiretapping policy. No need for any investigations now, for it would just lead to her office door.

Which brings me to the whole water boarding fiasco. Still trying to make political hay out of now former President Bush, Nancy went back on the warpath. We were never told, Congress knew nothing about it, it's that evil Bush again, and I am going to take him down. Weeks and weeks of this. I am going to start an investigation, not just an investigation, but a truth commission to get to the bottom of this!

Then, as it would happen, news leaked out that once again, Nancy was right there all the way getting briefed on the whole affair. And once again, had signed off on it.

That's not true said Nancy. It is that evil CIA, they are lying. They lied to me then, they are lying now. They always lie to Congress.

Really?

After her press conference where she tried to explain how she was lied to, it was just even more confusing. Clearly she was rattled. But since then, not a word on the matter. I wonder why?

Did the truth lead back to her office door again?

Notice any similarities between these two examples?

I am of the mind that anything Nancy Pelosi wants to investigate, will have her fingerprints on it somewhere. It must be very frustrating to be the one who gets in your own way, when trying to bring down a political opponent. But such is life for the third most powerful person in government.

There are lots of other things I could pick on her about. She has been in politics a long time and has said and done all sorts of idiotic things. But I think these two examples give a good overview of her character, or lack thereof.

My real question is how does she keep getting re elected?

I almost forgot, since our Dear Leader took office, the wire tapping program has been expanded to include regular Americans. But for some reason now, no one has a problem with it.
