They have a funny version of history. Here is a little history. North Korea steals people. They have been doing it for years. They steal folks from South Korea. They steal folks from Japan. They even steal folks from China.

Oh, did I mention the people they steal are women? They steal them for sex slaves, for wives, for selling. Probably anything you can imagine. They have been doing it for at least the last 60 years. Probably longer, as I think it was pretty common in centuries past.

In fact, Mike Huckabee was on the DMZ once, the South Korea side, and they had armed guards around him because, the North Koreans like to jump over the border and steal people.

Which brings me to the two American girls they stole from China. Just business as usual for North Korea. How were they to know they were American Citizens? I am sure both Miss Ling and Miss Lee pointed out that they were Americans. They probably even pointed out that they were in China at the time of the abduction.

Unfortunately, the DPRK already had them by then. Once the realized their new problem, they had to make up a reason for kidnapping the two American women from China. Spying, that is always a good one. And of course, to be spying, they had to be across the border too.

12 years hard labor. I wonder if we have sent them a terse letter yet. Hillery Clinton told the Chinese government that human rights won't get in the way of economic recovery. Nancy Pelosi was just there, she just talked about the greenhouse effect in her head, I think.

I believe the official response from the White House was, this is unfortunate. And then, they are contemplating sending Al Gore to negotiate for their release. Maybe we could make a swap? Maybe he can promise to deliver 1,000 copies of his movie. I' sure they don't get many big production science fiction movies over there.

No, North Korea can't give them back. They would have to admit they stole the girls from China. So apparently, we are going to try to bribe them with commodities to try to get them back. Hard to tell for sure, since Our Dear Leader seems to not want to be mean to their Dear Leader. Naturally, this will lead to more kidnappings, as North Korea sees how easily they can extort the west.

After all, all nations are equal in this new Progressive Marxist mindset. We can not stand up to any nation, unless it is first approved by the United Nations. And the UN is busy. They are still trying to draft the terse letter to North Korea for the nuclear test.

Kim Jong Il, you can expect 2 very terse letters sometime in the future, and 1,000 copies of an inconvenient truth. Don't make us send Al Gore over, and don't say you were not warned!
