PROGRESSIVE CONGRESSIONAL CAUCAS

Here is a link for the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Maybe one of your representatives is in there

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_Progressive_Caucus

It has some of my favorite names, including Barney Frank and Maxine Waters. It says Nancy Pelosi was a member until she became speaker of the House, though she is still listed on the web site.

Here is their Official Web Site

Here is a couple of snippets:

To expand energy-efficient transportation choices by increasing investment in synthesized networks, including bicycle, local bus and rail transit, regional high-speed rail and magnetic levitation rail projects.

To eliminate environmental threat posed by global warming and ensuring that America does our part to advance an effective global problem-solving approach

Convert domestic assembly lines to manufacture highly efficient vehicles, enhance global competitiveness of U.S. auto industry, and expand consumer choice;

To uphold the right to universal access to affordable, high quality healthcare for all.

Support the DREAM Act or legislation that would restores states’ rights to offer in-state tuition to non-citizen students residing in their state and that would provide a path to citizenship for hardworking non-citizen youth who want to contribute fully to our society.

Include strong labor protections for all workers in the United States, regardless of immigration status.

Anyway, you get the point. I am sure there are some proud Progressives in the Senate, Te Kennedy and Harry Reid come to mind. But I can't seem to find much on them as of yet.

It is important to know who these folks are, as Our Dear Leader is a Progressive. And and all of his policies are part of the Progressive plan. It is a mix between Marxism and Fascism. And it is now running the country.
