I've taken a few headlines as an example. These all came from Bloomberg.

U.S. Consumer Credit Had Second-Biggest Drop on Record in April, Fed Says Borrowing by U.S. consumers had the second-biggest drop on record in April as the jobless rate reached its highest in a quarter century and accessing loans remained difficult.
Slightly mixed messages?
I really like how since the losses were not as high as anticipated, we are on the road for recovery. Of course they said that last month, ans the month before.
It's like I have $100. You rob me of $98. I am happy because even though I was robbed, I still have $2. It is insanity, and it is the government propaganda to make you forget that you are broke, or unemployed.
But that isn't what I want to talk about, specifically. I saw this headline as well
Microsoft Will Move Jobs Offshore if Obama Gets His New Tax
We all should realize by now that our Dear Leader is out to either own or destroy American business. I think the government owning a business is probably worse than flat out destroying it.
Our Dear Leader decided he wanted to close the tax loopholes that big business use in their overseas operations. I'm not sure how following the tax code equals a loophole, but then, I am not in the government. Yes, he would generate a lot of tax revenue in theory. In reality, most corporations will do what Microsoft is saying they will do, simply move out of the country. In which case the tax revenue will drop dramatically. Often we forget that we already have about the highest corporate tax rate in the world. And his idea would make these monsters of the people, well, simply unprofitable. And when you are unprofitable, you close your business.
Not only will the corporate tax revenue drop, but unemployment will skyrocket. Because that company that just moved overseas, took your job with them, causing further tax revenue losses. Do you see a cycle here?
All you have to do is look at CA . They adopted the tax the life out of a company policy. So, the companies left for friendlier states, taking their jobs with them.. Now CA is on the verge of bankruptcy, unemployment has been in double digits for months, and the state government just might implode.
So, since it works so well on the state level, it only makes sense to do it on the national level. That is government thinking for you, Komrad.
